“Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before! What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas…perhaps…means a little bit more!” ― Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
Wow! Christmas is less than a month away! It’s time to get our ducks in a row before the holiday rush begins. One way to keep your sanity during this busy season is by taking time each day to remove some clutter from the home. Christmas decorations, baking supplies, shipping boxes… it all adds up. Soon our homes become a tornado of everything holly and jolly. It’s time to make this holiday season less stressed and more enjoyable.
Join me in a Christmas purge challenge – 25 things in 25 days! It’s simple, pick a number from the list each day from November 30 til December 24 and remove that item. Donate it. Sell it. Trash it. It’s up to you how you want to go about this challenge. The most important thing is do a little bit each and every day to keep your home tidy as the season passes by. Doing this simple step will keep your home picture-perfect and ready for those unexpected guests or the big family that is coming on Christmas Day.
Please comment and let me know what you are letting go of before the holidays. For me, I am getting rid of more than a couple things this year. I am starting with my stash of outdated Christmas decorations. I also want to replace my old holiday candles with some new, fresh ones. I love the smell of Christmas candles and am hoping to find some new scents.
Holiday wishes from me to you!
