The Decluttering Queen’s Freezer Meal Workshop Series – October 2016

Fall is here and it’s time for hearty meals to help warm the cooler nights.  I am excited to share another freezer meal workshop series.  This one features more pastas than September’s but also some fall favorites such as pumpkin pasta dish and a delicious potato/sausage soup. The portions are best suited for a family of four to five so you may want to adjust based on your unique needs.

Here are the worksheets:

The Decluttering Queen’s Freezer Meal Tip for October

When making tomato-based pasta dishes like the Baked Ziti in this series, I always add an additional 1/2 can of sauce to each pan.  This keeps the dish saucy and the noodles tender.  I also cook my noodles al dente before freezing so they don’t get too soft when I go to bake them.  If you are baking a dish topped with cheese such as lasagna, add about another 1 cup of cheese to the top before baking.
